Autumn Equinox: Mabon

The autumn equinox is a time when day and night are of equal length. When 

light and dark energies are of equal power. It is a seasonal gateway, a time 

between beginnings and endings. 

This sabbat is associated with myth of the Goddess Persephone and her descent into the Underworld. Her story is symbolic of our own need to retreat from the world, to go within to find our true self.  

As the leaves fall and the colours of the world change, find the time to learn about your inner world to discover truth and fulfillment.
