The full moon in the air sign of Libra ushers in themes of clarity, balance, and harmony. Libra's motif is the scales, a symbol of justice and equality, its ruler is Venus, the planet of beauty, art, values and relationships.  

The magick of Libra highlights our need for personal peace, to deal with others diplomatically and to see both sides of a situation. This isn’t always easy when we believe we are right, but we are all complicated beings who often see the same situation differently. This doesn’t mean there isn’t injustice, there is, but compromise and understanding in relationships creates growth and a deepening of love and respect.  

Peace connects us to the Divine. To achieve peace sometimes requires acceptance, stillness and surrender, at times it requires courage and action, but it is never forced or heightened with self-satisfaction or ‘winning’. It can be beneficial to give conflict to the wind and wait for insight and clarity. We all want answers, but resolution sometimes waits in the mystery of the future. Give up the struggle, observe, be curious, and surrender.  

At present we live in a world that is not peaceful, that is not just or equal. Within our own relationships it is important to infuse the wonder of Libra. Peace is birthed firstly within us, then within the home, the community, then the world.
